PDS would like to invite you to attend an important webinar on online education in Ontario private schools, to be held on May 1, 2019, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
In this webinar, Mr. Christian Bayly will present and demonstrate the use of a platform for the teaching of credit courses online, meeting all guidelines and regulations of the Ontario Ministry of Education, including the principles of Growing Success, the triangulation of marks (product. observation and conversation), and the means to collect the evidence needed for successful online school inspection. Mr. Bayly will also discuss the tools needed for effective administration of online credits.
Christian Bayly is the Principal of Yip’s Collegiate School. He graduated with a teaching degree in 2003 and holds a Masters degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. He has teaching specialist qualifications in both Special Education and ESL teaching. Christian has more than 16 years of experience in educational leadership and program development, with an in-depth knowledge of primary/secondary education theory and practice. He also has more than 16 years of experience as an e-Learning Administrator and regularly designs, and delivers programming and training in Moodle. Christian has developed extensive online teaching programs for the secondary level and has more than 16 years of experience teaching ESL to students around the world. Along with his principalship, Mr. Bayly is also an e-learning consultant for Professional Development Seminars.
